A very easy knitting pattern for a Garter Stitch Chevron Throw/Blanket/Afghan. Knit in single, vertical strips of Garter Stitch. Knit every row. This versatile pattern can be knit to any size. The knitting pattern is written for a Blanket/Afghan/Throw measuring 91.5 cm x 122 cm. 36 in x 48 in. finished. Materials required. Aran/Worsted weight Yarn. Colour A. Biscuit: 400 Grams. 816 Metres. 892 Yards. Colour B. Brown: 400 Grams. 816 Metres. 892 Yards. 1 Pair 4mm (UK8 - US6) Knitting Needles. 1 Tapestry Needle. NB: Each Chevron requires approx 18 Metres. 20 Yards of Yarn, in each colour. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY Cast on, knit, increase, decrease, cast off GAUGE 18 stitches x 34 rows to 10cm x 10cm. 4in x 4in on 4mm knitting needles or the size required to obtain the correct tension SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Size (Adjustable): 91.5 cm x 122 cm. 36 in x 48 in.
