Snuggle up on the sofa with this original owl cushion/ pillow, he is so soft and cuddly! This heart shaped owl is knit flat on two needles from one side of his face to the other, with his features added using intarsia. The pattern includes row by row written instructions and a chart to help you along the way! Should you wish to make a bigger or smaller cushion/pillow you could use a thicker or finer yarn, however I suggest you use needles approximately 2 sizes smaller than suggested by the yarn company so that the toy stuffing does not show through your finished fabric. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY knit purl increase decrease cast on bind off intarsia GAUGE 9.5 stitches and 13 rows to 10cm/4in using 9mm/US 13 needles over stocking stitch after light steaming. SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS 20.5 inches high, 21 inches wide

I have a passion for designing knitwear for babies and children, I then write up the designs as patterns to share with other knitters. However, the knitwear design has to come second to my part time job, the household chores and one of my high maintenance cats, Basil! Keep up to date with my pattern design and Basil's exploits at
