Looking for an easy but darling skirt set for your daughter's/ granddaughter's American Doll or 18" doll? This pattern is an easy knit! Does not take long to make. Would make a perfect gift for that little girl in your life! Skirt and shirt are knit in the rounds. There are minimal seams to sew! They are both knit bottom up. Set was designed with a worsted weight cotton yarn. However, testers have used other worsted weight yarn and the outfit turned out terrific! Skirt/shirt set is easy to get on and off! My name is Lara and I love to knit! I have been knitting for 13 years. My oldest son is almost 13! Before he was born, I picked up the needles and taught myself to knit! I started with a scarf, jumped to a jacket and hat for my newborn and then to a baptism gown! I have knit many, many sweaters, hats, mitts, socks over the last 10 years! Everytime I pick up needles, I have something else in my mind I want to try! I have an electronic systems engineering degree, but have chosen to stay home with my children at this moment. I love working with numbers, so writing up patterns is a great challenge for me! I have 6 wonderful children, so have many opportunities to knit for them! I have also learned some crocheting as I find it adds to my knit projects! I hope you enjoy these patterns as much as I do!
