PATTERN DETAILS

Allons-y is French for 'let's go'. It is also the catchphrase of the 10th Doctor on Doctor Who. Much like a certain blue Police Call Box, this little pouch is bigger on the inside. It opens into a large, useful market bag that is great for toting to the beach or taking along while running errands. Allons-y is knit seamlessly from the bottom up. When the pouch is not being used to contain the bag, it doubles as a hidden pocket inside the bag for keeping your phone, money, sonic screwdriver or bank cards safely out of sight. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY knitting, decreasing, picking up stitches, three needle bind off, working in the round GAUGE 4 stitches and 5 rows = 1 inch/ 2.5 centimetres in stockinette using double knitting, measured after blocking Gauge is not crucial for the project, however, a different gauge will affect the finished size of he project and the amount of yarn required.
