PATTERN DETAILS

2 patterns in 1: This pattern includes instructions for both Tulip Lace Tunic and for matching Tulip Lace Hat. Both pieces have seamless construction. The Tulip Lace Tunic is a simple introduction to top-down construction sweater. The bodice is worked in Stockinette stitch and the skirt in a simple Tulip lace pattern. The tunic has a multiple wear options: It can be worn as a vest over a long sleeve T-shirt for casual wear or as a staple to dress up a spring dress. Hat is worked in the round from lower edge up. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY knit and purl knit with dpn needles in the round make basic increases and decreases GAUGE 22 sts and 28 rows to 4"/ 10 cm in St st. 21 sts and 30 rows to 4"/ 10 cm in Tulip Lace pattern. SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS TUNIC: Girl's size 2 (4, 6, 8, 10) yrs. Shown in size 4.
