Class Overview

Ditch the unnecessary fuss of all those DPNs! Join designer Kate Gilbert, and start knitting magic loop! Kate will teach you how to work short circumferences on one long needle, so you can keep track of fewer tools and create projects in a flash. Along the way, you'll practice your new techniques in three practice projects: a colorwork cowl, cabled cuff-down socks worked one at a time and a pair of toe-up socks worked at the same time on one needle. You'll start with techniques for casting on, evenly distributing your stitches and troubleshooting common problems. Then, discover how to make easy work of cable charts, work a short row heel with a gusset and even create beautiful colorwork! If you've already made socks with DPNs and are looking for an easier and faster method, this is the class for you!
