Wave Ring - and Thank you, Pat!

Project Description

Who is this project for? Women What are you most proud of? A simple ring from Dale Cougar Armstrong's book "Wirework". It gave a me hard time to find out how to crimp the ends of the adornment wires at the front around the ring shank so that they lie flat against the backside (and don't scratch) without marring the wire. Then I remembered Patricia Capotosto's truely wonderful Weave Ring tutorial ( which turned out to be exactly the help I needed. So thank you, Pat! What advice would you give someone starting this project? Dale Cougar Armstrong's ring isn't a difficult project, perhaps suited for an advanced beginner. But it's a very short tutorial and doesn't show very well how to crimp the wire ends around the ring shank. Pat's tutorial is a lot more detailed and I like her technique very much better. Her Hug Ring Tutorial explains the same technique, and the ring design looks a bit like DCA's ring (without the stones at center), so I'd perhaps begin with this tutorial (
