Project

She Wears Flowers ~ Necklace

Project Description

Who is this project for? Women What are you most proud of? I think I was able to achieve a whimsical and ecclectic look without being too overwhelming. I love how it turned out! What advice would you give someone starting this project? It took me a while to decide how and where I wanted to place the parts. It will be helpful to lay the parts out before you start glueing them.

What you will need

  • Chain
  • button
  • cabochons
  • charms
  • glue
  • etc

Q&A with Tea Rose Home

sewmom asked:
Love it - what did you use for the base?
Tea Rose Home answered:
I just had a flower shaped metal base left over from another project. I've tried to look for the name but can't find it. I don't know exactly what to call it, but it was just a flower shaped metal based.
pupcat asked:
I cannot seem to find the guidelines for making this project...where should I look?
Tea Rose Home answered:
I don't have a tutorial for this project. I just shared a picture of the finished necklace. Sorry.
hmarie asked:
where are the directions...got materials....please advise this is beautiful and I am new to this site...thanks!!!!
Tea Rose Home answered:
I didn't make a tutorial, I just kind of made it up as I went along with the various pieces I had lying around.
Nina Nolan asked:
Absolutely AMAZING!!! I'm new here, too, and would love detailed instructions!
Tea Rose Home answered:
With so many comments asking for instructions, I might do a tutorial in the future.
thortam asked:
This is beautiful! Can you tell us what type of glue you used and what you used as a base to glue your cabochons to. Thank you for sharing!
Tea Rose Home answered:
The glue that I used is E-6000. That thing is amazing. The base is just a flower shaped piece of metal that I had.
