What was your source for this jewelry project? Improvisational Who is this project for? Women What are you most proud of? My friend Rita sent me different cabochons for rings. This is the last cab she sent, a teardrop shaped larimar with a very high dome, 11.5x14,5x6.5mm. I'm quite proud that I really managed to finish it :), it gave me such a hard time :). I didn't know what to do with it, tried lots of different designs, had problems design-wise, execution-wise and with fingers all thumbs; I felt like a complete beginner sometimes. Finally I ended up using a RAW bezel again. The concept how to build the ring was inspired by Mary Tucker's beautiful „Marquise Rings 2“, a project she posted on her theangstyartist blog in March 2011 (http://www.theangstyartist.blogspot.de/2011/03/marquise-ring-2.html). She's such a wonderful designer!!! The ring band was inspired by Emi Kaz' Majestic Ring (tutorial available on jewelrylessons.com), and the bezel setting by Perri Jackson (Shaktipaj Designs).
