Pink/Purple/Teal/Brass Charm Bracelet

Project Description

Who is this project for? Women What are you most proud of? The way I was able to meld an extremely varied collection of objects into a cohesive piece of art jewelry. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Look for new ways to use ordinary objects!

What you will need

  • I used a link from a belt for the centerpiece of the bracelet. The link was very plain
  • and mostly painted black
  • so I painted it and filled the recesses with a glossy dimensional resin. I formed a rosy-pink paperclip into a charm (the one to the left of the centerpiece)
  • and an old guitar string into another (the one to the right of the centerpiece). I wire-wrapped beads to create dangles
  • then attached them and the two charms I mentioned to a length of large-link chain from a broken belt. I added a smaller bit of chain as an extender
  • and attached to it a small charm that I had painted to match.
