Thank you for posting Carolmealing. Sometimes the second side of stitching in the ditch is hard if the first side is too tight. It makes it hard to pull the beads out to get into them. I like what you have done though!
Carol Mealing answered:
I was very worried about my tension being too loose (part of why I couldn't get peyote to work before) so it seems I went too far the other way. I learned that the beads that get zipped together are covered by the crystals, so it doesn't matter much what they are.....I chose a clear bead lined with a really bright pink which really popped against the amethyst tones and it was lost.
