Illusion necklace

Project Description

Who is this project for? Women What are you most proud of? It turned out great! What advice would you give someone starting this project? Positioning the beads with the crimp beads can be tricky. To help get them snugged up as closely as possible, use the smallest pliers you have available. I just used a finger's width for convenient spacing, but keep in mind that if your beads are smaller or larger, your spacing may result in the finished product being too small or much longer than desired.

What you will need

  • 12 to 16 assorted silver
  • black
  • white
  • and/or clear glass
  • metal
  • or high quality plastic beads. These should all have some quality of sheen or sparkle to them. Start with at least 8mm in diameter. Use clear stringing wire and small crimp beads (2 for each bead plus 2 to fasten off ends). I used a lobster clasp and jump ring for the ends.
