Brasilianite in Chantilly Lace

Project Description

What was your source for this jewelry project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo Chantilly Lace Ring Link to website or photo Who is this project for? Women What are you most proud of? I'm thrilled at how beautifully the Chantilly Lace pattern adapts to almost any stone shape. This is basically just a small chunk of Brasilianite, and although only little of the stone is covered by the setting, it's really secure. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Learn beadweaving with wire first. The setting is basically a RAW (Right Angle Weave) stitch, but there is a trick to doing it with wire. It's different than RAW with thread. And if you want to set a stone, begin with a cabochon, preferably an oval, round or teardrop shaped one.
