Arrowhead

Who is this project for? Unisex What are you most proud of? Anyone who has genuine pre Columbus arrowheads know that they are not flat. I decided to dry this arrowhead on a warmer and hope that it would bow. It did and I am so pleased. For patina I used a blackening agent. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Just have confidence. Once you roll out the clay and roll it over the texture plate cut it with a polymer clay blade. Then don't touch it until it is dry. I made the bail by cutting out a two pointed piece of clay and folding it over a straw .Then I used paste to attach the front and back points down. After drying I used a bur to drill the clay and set the stone .
