Affinity Bracelet

Project Description

Who is this project for? Women What are you most proud of? I think it will be when I learn to white-balance my camera and can photograph purple, but stay tuned:) What advice would you give someone starting this project? Make sure you set up someplace comfortable where you're not hunched over. I also second the advice about using good light. This technique seems to be very forgiving. I have some beads in my stash that don't meet my standards for regular beadwork but I think they'd be fine surrounded by fiber. Watch out for sharp edges on beads though.

What you will need

  • Silk/cotton blend yarn
  • Railroad track/trellis/ladder yarn
  • Toho size 8 and 11 beads

Q&A with Sandal

agrandma asked:
This is beautiful! The texture and color pattern from thr project are very peaceful and in my eyes retro. As a child of the 970's I would like to say, "more power to you" and wonderful work.
Sandal answered:
Thank you so much!
DTSwan asked:
I really like the variety of fibers and beads you used!! isn't this class fun, so many options!
Sandal answered:
It is a fun class! You have done so many things already, and so much variety. I love the way you're mixing things up. They're all great, but I have a special love for Miyuki 401FR, which I think you used for your cube bracelet?
