This lesson shows you how to make a gorgeous ring. The ring has a lovely basket woven ring shank and is finished by creating a decorative focal part using your own style of creativity, - with or without beads. You will learn how to properly size the ring and I will guide you through each and every step, as well as give you suggestions on different techniques to decorate and finish the focal part. All measurements, including wire gauges, are given in both Imperial and Metric values throughout this tutorial. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY You should have some wire knowledge and basic beading tools.

We have been doing wire work for about 10 years or better. I saw my first piece of wire wrapped jewelry at a Rock and Gem show. I fell in love with all the pendants and rings all wrapped in wire. I really haven't looked back since then. Today my husband and I own a small retail bead/rock shop in our home town and we have just finished our first book which will be on and in our store, which we sell at all the Rock & Gem shows around our neck of the woods. Book name is " Making Memories" By Al & Jackie Koppany, published by Feelingstone Gifts LLC We have more books in the making and have over 25 wire wrapped tutorials published.
