Hi all! My name is Iulia Postica and I am the passionate for beadwork designer behind "BeadedTreasury". I've been crocheting and knitting ever since I remember myself, my grandmother has taught me that and I loved it very much! I always regarded crafts exclusively as a hobby and never thought of having a job in this field. Therefore I studied history and archaeology, actually I've been digging since I was 10 as my father, being a professional archaeologist himself, took me with him to archaeological excavation camps he conducted every summer. I still remember my first archaeological discovery - an early medieval bronze button. I was very proud and happy child then! Nine years ago I have developed a passion for beadwork and jewelry making and my life has greatly changed. Bead crochet is what I started with as a logical development of my crochet skills, but I equally love beadweaving and bead embroidery. I adore beads and everything I can create with them; all the variety of bead shapes and colors inspire me to create new jewelry designs. I currently focus on making beading patterns I share with all bead lovers. Besides beads, I love gardening, cats, travel and scifi movies. I live in Moldova (Europe) and I speak Romanian, English, Russian, Italian, some French and Spanish. Also, I have a facebook page and a blog with some free beading tutorials you are welcome to visit.
