PATTERN DETAILS

In this tutorial you will learn how to make a bracelet frame and add a patterned metal disk of your choice. You will not learn how to make the pattern on the disk. This wire woven bracelet frame is very versatile and once you have learned how to make it, you can use it as a base for many other embellishments such as gemstone beads, a decorative weave in the opening of the frame, or keep the bundle frame unopened and wear it as a pretty bracelet band. A special feature of this bracelet is the built-in-clasp which is a favorite of many of my students. You can easily add more wires to the bundle for a wider band. Here at our shop, this bracelet is our beginners class. We have only just recently started to add the metal disks as requested by our students. We are happy to share with you our most popular class for the beginner who wants to learn the fine art of wire wrapping. For a gorgeous matching set, please also try our tutorial for a Metal Disc Ring. It will not only enable you to make a beautiful matching ring, but also teach you a great and versatile technique that you can use to make many other styles of rings. Step-By-Step Instructions with clear photo's (no diagrams) Skill Level * Beginners All measurements, including wire gauges, are given in both Imperial and Metric values throughout this tutorial.

We have been doing wire work for about 10 years or better. I saw my first piece of wire wrapped jewelry at a Rock and Gem show. I fell in love with all the pendants and rings all wrapped in wire. I really haven't looked back since then. Today my husband and I own a small retail bead/rock shop in our home town and we have just finished our first book which will be on Amazon.com and in our store, which we sell at all the Rock & Gem shows around our neck of the woods. Book name is " Making Memories" By Al & Jackie Koppany, published by Feelingstone Gifts LLC We have more books in the making and have over 25 wire wrapped tutorials published.
