PATTERN DETAILS

In this tutorial you will learn how to form a round tube in the middle and at both ends of a metal strip, using our technique to create a nice and smooth end for the tubes. Every step is clearly described and shown with large close-up pictures. Included, you will also find the steps to show how to add beads for a completely different look, so you get two designs in one tutorial. These metal cuffs are equally suitable for male or female wearers and you can easily create a look all of your own for you and your husband, brother, friend, or that special person or couple on your list. Although this tutorial is listed as an Intermediate Level, we feel that a beginner can manage this project with some prior knowledge in making wraps and using the tools required. All measurements, including wire gauges, are given in both Imperial and Metric values throughout this tutorial. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY Cut and work with some 24g sheet metal, This is helpful.

We have been doing wire work for about 10 years or better. I saw my first piece of wire wrapped jewelry at a Rock and Gem show. I fell in love with all the pendants and rings all wrapped in wire. I really haven't looked back since then. Today my husband and I own a small retail bead/rock shop in our home town and we have just finished our first book which will be on Amazon.com and in our store, which we sell at all the Rock & Gem shows around our neck of the woods. Book name is " Making Memories" By Al & Jackie Koppany, published by Feelingstone Gifts LLC We have more books in the making and have over 25 wire wrapped tutorials published.
