This Daisy Eyelet necklace design is based on one my oldest daughter, Wendy Corley of Bohemian Heart, created for my youngest daughter's wedding to go with her eyelet lace wedding dress. This necklace is beautifully elegant, but very easy to make and will work up equally well with pearls or other beads of similar size. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY All you really need to know is how to thread a needle. This pattern is fully illustrated with text instructions.

Recommended with this pattern

  • 6mm pearls (8), 8mm pearls (3), 4mm pearls (97), 3mm crystal bicones (55), size 15 seed beads (amount depends on length desired)
  • 2 beading needles and beading thread of your choice. I used 6 lb fireline for beading thread.
  • .5 inch wide, drop is 1 inch long, by length desired.

The Bead Doodler
I've been designing beaded jewelry since 2007. My initial attempts at designing were to make beautiful jewelry with semi-precious (healing) stones. The beads kind of took over my life and I'm not particular what I use to design with as long as it is a high quality bead. I can't say I have a favorite stitch or type of bead, but lately I've been experimenting with the new Twin beads and Super Duos. Next on my to-do list is design some items with Cubic Right Angle Weave with the Twins. It works in my head, now to put thread and beads to it.
