I've always like the look of filigrees in some jewelry designs, so I created this earrings with the same technique (hand coiled filigree loops) that I made for my pendants. I added some beads to it which made it more elegant. The best thing is that you don't need a coiling tool to do the job! I may have unknowingly made this my signature style! BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY Basic knowledge of wirework is an advantage but not necessary as the clear step-by-step photographs will help to guide you in completing the earrings. This tutorial will teach you how to construct the round frame, filigree coils, attach the filigree links and beads as well as making a pair of ear hooks. Coiling tool is not needed as we'll be coiling short length of wire to make the filigree links. After some practice, you will be able to complete the earrings in as little time as 2 hours or so. You can create pendants, bracelets, brooches, ear hoops, etc. until you have gained a little practice with this technique. Please respect copyright & do not distribute, reproduce, sell or copy. However, you may make this design or something similar to sell. Happy crafting! SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Approximately 4cm (filigree component), 5.6cm from top of ear wire.
