*** Sale *** Learn to make this bead woven rope to wear as a necklace alone, as a base to hang a pendant on or as a bracelet. Make it plain or embellish it as much as you want. This tutorial includes step by step photos in full color with textual descriptions of each step. Very little experience is required. However, I consider this to be an intermediate level tutorial. Some bead weaving experience would be useful in mastering this beadworking technique. The tutorial includes how to weave the rope and how to create the toggle clasp mechanism. The stitch used is single needle right angle weave. An introduction to this stitch is available in my Swarovski Crystal Bracelet Tutorial which is available FREE in my Craftsy Store. This tutorial covers each individual step bead by bead is full color photos and textual explanations. ALTERNATE BEADS You can use just about any bead to make a rope including seed beads, 3 or 4mm Druks (aka Round Czech Glass), and 3 or 4mm Fire Polish (aka Faceted Czech Glass). Any bicone shaped bead works great. I have used bicone beads up to 8mm with nice results. Tutorial is 49 pages long with over 140 full color step by step photos.

Supplies Needed

  • In the example in the main photo I used 37 - 3mm bicone crystals per inch.
  • 111 3mm bicone crystals for toggle clasp mechanism.
  • Size 10 or 12 beading needles
