This tutorial is a good introduction to basket weaving in wire and every step is clearly illustrated and fully explained so you will find it easy to follow. The central Celtic knot is pretty enough to be left as is but I also show you how to add bead embellishments. This is a durable, strong bangle which can be made for any size of wrist and holds its shape very well. It is also surprisingly quick to make and does not require a clasp. 32 pages, 56 steps, 82 close-up photos will ensure success. My passion for jewellery designing and making started 12 years ago with a silversmithing course and I have since embraced other techniques such as stringing, bead weaving, chain maille, resin but my true love is wirework in which I now specialize. I have contributed a monthly project to Beads & Beyond for the past 3 years, written numerous tutorials which I sell on my website and I am the author of The Absolute Beginner's Guide: Making Wire Jewellery (published by Kalmbach books) which teaches you in great detail all the basic techniques you need to become proficient at wirework. Don't forget to download my free tutorial about the basic tools you need to get started in wirework.
