Pattern Details

I've decided to stand united with sexual assault & harassment survivors, and I am making these patterns FREE. This is for all survivors, female, and male. I myself am a survivor of sexual assault, and feel that we, as a society, must help one another, and protect each other. SO ...wear these pins like "badge" of honor! Let's show that we aren't going to take it any more from evil people. Wearables, wear these as a brooch / costume jewelry / lapel pin / button or badge / name badge, insert artwork, or photos, or a slogan, saying, poem, whatever you want that makes you feel comfortable, because ...that's the key, feeling comfortable with who we are. You can insert a metal brooch pin back 1 1/4" or 35mm long, or safety pin, or paint one on, or show a safety pin through the 2 holes on the frame pin, or use a safety pin in lieu of the metal brooch pin back that I show. However you want to do it is fine. I will update my graphics soon, here. Until then, from here on out, this pattern will be FREE, because I feel that strongly in supporting my community of survivors. I want everyone to live well, be prosperous, and above all be safe from harm. I will add a safety pin graphic to this group of patterns in this download soon. Until then, I have these for you to use. In this download, I have 2 pdf downloads, the new download pdf is added as a separate pdf download, and has 4 formatted art brooch designs, with the Queen of Hearts crown tiara in 2 ways, 4 different color backgrounds, that you can print onto one sheet of washable, inkjet printer fabric, sold at Joann Fabrics, made by June Tailor OR Prym Printed Treasures, formatted to print onto one 8 1/2" x 11" inkjet fabric sheet. It is on page 32, so please use your printer properties, unclick "print all pages", and then click on "print pages 32 to 32", so that you only need to print that sheet onto inkjet fabric. The pattern pages, listed in the table of contents, in the first pdf digital download, get printed directly onto inkjet printer friendly Therm o Web HeatnBond Ultrahold for no sew pins, HeatnBond Lite or Featherlite inkjet printer friendly fabric adhesive, paper backed and iron onto the back of the fabric, for sewing the pins, Ultrahold & Lite / Featherlite are sold at Michaels, here at Craftsy, Joann Fabrics, AC Moore, and Michaels online, just use a store coupon to save up to 50% off! If you are in the UK, you can get it at Barnyarns and Hobbycraft. IF you can't sew, then you can print the patterns directly onto the Ultrahold use hot glue to assemble the parts around the edges, neatly, carefully, and slowly, and they won't fall apart in the wash. Just remove the metal brooch pin or safety pin (and photo and clear protective sleeve, for the frame pins). The pattern structures can be printed onto Ultrahold, a paper back, iron on, fabric adhesive / interfacing available at JoAnn Fabrics, Walmart, Michaels, & AC Moore. And you can print the patterns using your inkjet printer. These are just the structure patterns, the art and embellishment brooch button jewelry pins I will make available at a later day, where you can print the art onto washable, inkjet fabric, or make ribbon roses pins, or beaded. The first download has patterns, that make a new way to make fabric brooch pins, I have 8 sizes of patterns, for washable, sewn OR no sew, fabric brooch pin, fashion jewelry accessories, WITH removable, metal pin backs! 4 panels of fabric, WITH seam allowances, that you iron Therm o Web, HeatnBond, Ultrahold to the back of your fabric panels. Ultrahold is an acid free, paper backed, iron on, fabric adhesive, that you can print on with your inkjet printer! You will print most of your patterns on Ultrahold It's easy, and Thermoweb has it on their site, as an advantage. Ultrahold seals the cut holes for the pin back's mechanisms to stay in place, plus helps keep the finished fabric panels structure, AND also allows for the brooch frames to stand on a shelf or table! Plus, 2 sizes for convertible, tabletop picture frames to brooch pins, where you remove the strut leg held on by velcro or hook & loop, and replace with a metal pin back, held in place by 2 holes on the back panel! Ooh, and these pins can be used as hanging Christmas holiday tree ornaments, especially the 8 frame pin ornaments! I give you 16 patterns, just the structures. You use your imagination, and design the fronts, and the backs, if you want. You can use craft store acrylic paint mixed with textile medium in the craft paint department, beading, ribbon roses and leaves, buttons, print designed onto June Tailor, washable, colorfast, inkjet printer fabric sheets sold at JoAnn Fabrics, and then iron Ultrahold to the back, and iron the design as an applique to the front of the brooch! The possibilities are endless, I give you some ideas, you make them your own. I have inkjet printer brooch and brooch frame projects on Craftsy, with my art formatted to print onto inkjet printer fabric, but I sell those separately, because if I added them to this download, the pdf would be gigantic encyclopedia eBook lol. As you can see by the list of skills and supplies listed, believe it or not, these projects, these brooch pins, are INCREDIBLY EASY to make! I invented these brooches, because I love brooches, I love the antique brooches, but I also love fabric, AND I wanted the brooches to be washable. I didn't start out with washable brooches, I had covered a tiny piece of mat board with fabric and Ultrahold on both sides, and then hot glued a metal pin back to it, and that was ok. I accidentally washed one once, and it actually came out descent, BUT you can't always rely on one good wash cycle, so I invented WASHABLE, fabric brooch pins. lol I figured, if I could make it, where the metal pin back was removable, yet held in place on the back, by placing 2 holes on the back panel, well, that did the trick! Print each pattern page one at a time, using your printer properties preview window (example: print from page 1 to page 1), and all patterns fit within the 8x10" bounding box or borders, onto the 8 1/2" x 11" inkjet fabric sheets and Ultrahold print out pattern pages. And I will be making more brooch designs! So, keep an eye out for new patterns in this profile store at or , along with my other inventions, crafts, and sewing projects, with my art formatted. So relax, take your time, and have fun making these printable brooch patterns, many for washable, fabric brooch pins & washable, fabric, convertible frame to brooch pins with removable parts! It's exciting, I enjoyed making them for you! Now, make them your own! :D Buy my ebook download with this free pdf PLUS over 85 printable, washable, inkjet printer fabric sheet printables to make fashion costume jewelry brooch buttons with 25 inkjet fabric sheets to print $10 - 75 pages including ten printable, formatted artwork designs for making 10 different designs of tabletop / table or wall hanging, easel strut leg picture frames for the new instant print photos 2x3", by Instax & Polaoraid, as well as the smartphone camera printer devices by HP Sprocket & Prynt, and 1 1/2" x 2 1/2" photos.
