Mastering the Fundamentals of Watercolor Mastering the Fundamentals of Watercolor $600.00 Workshop Dates: 3/16/2015 - 3/20/2015 Location: Scottsdale Artists' School 3720 North Marshall Way Scottsdale Arizona 85251 United States www.scottsdaleartschool.org This workshop will focus on the basic building blocks of the medium of watercolor. The goal is to approach the medium with a greater understanding of the advantages and disadvantages of painting a portrait in watercolor. I will demonstrate my technique as well as provide individual instruction. The class will be broken up in stages. The first step will be a monochromatic block in, followed by a series of thin glazes of color to build form. Lastly, the students will learn how to bring their paintings to a high completion.
