That we up-cycled something that would end up in a landfill and made something very usable and practical for our garden. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Draw out what you want to make and then draw it over again until you have all the storage planned out. Measure your wood and lay it out on the ground first after cutting it like a puzzle to make sure that you have all that pieces and hardware that you need. Make a list before you go to the hardware store to save time.

  • I was up-cycling and couldn't see throwing the used lumber away.
