What was your source for this garden project? Other Tell us more about what inspired you. I wanted to create a wheelchair accessible garden for the patients I work with. I looked at what was in other gardens and created what you see now. What type of item is this? Functional How would you describe the style of your project? Traditional How would you describe the style of your project? Outdoorsy What are you most proud of? It took a great deal of hard work and volunteer assistance to get it all created. I am proud to work in the garden with patients and see their happy faces as they plant and tend what I worked hard to build. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Plan well. Get donations and get assistance from friends and family. Do it in stages if necessary.

This was constructed quite a few years ago. The wood was $2,000for the two raised beds pergola and the edging for the whole area. It was all constructed with 8x8 timbers. The interlocking bricks were donated. Labour was all volunteer. Hope that information helps.
