Retro / Vintage How would you describe the style of your project? Whimsical What are you most proud of? The color combination turned out perfect, the design came together without a hitch. The challenge was what to do with the left side - the one with the burlap bag. I had considered using an actual coffee bean bag but didn't have the patience to wait for one to arrive in the mail. I like that you can also use this side to store magazines or towels. I'm also really proud of the trompe l'oiel doily on the top. I pressed the original doily into wet paint and was amazed that it picked up the textured design (email for more pictures or go to my blog to see it). I was really excited when I found the coffee fabric in my stash and knew I had to line the drawers with it - it goes perfectly! This is really going to be hard to let go of! You MUST use a good sealer/primer (Kilz) or you may end up with problems. I just used a run-of-the-mill primer on this and bad things happened! "Something" leaked through and I ended up having to re-seal and re-paint those areas. More pictures at www.mixedupmediaartist.blogspot.com
