Sugar Skulls meet Ed Hardy

What was your source for this embroidery project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo Mariposas & Dia De Los Muertos Link to website or photo www.urbanthreads.com What are you most proud of? My own colour combinations. What advice would you give someone starting this project? You can do the embroidery by hand or transfer the stock art images onto Inkjet-printer linen sheets instead of embroidering them (Images and designs at Urban Threads).

You Can Make This

Eva Blue made Sugar Skulls meet Ed Hardy with:

  • Leftover pieces of linen from my Boho-chic Bag. Heat resistant felt
  • Insul-Fleece insulated interfacing
  • Madeira and Isacord embroidery threads.

Q&A with Eva Blue

fergilan asked:
I love the colour combinations the bright pink and orange combination I would not have thought would work but with this design it really POPS! It just goes to show that following the colour rules doesn't always apply. Beautiful work.
Eva Blue answered:
Thank you. These were made for a friend who is an Ed Hardy fan.
