Springy Flowers Practice

What are you most proud of? I'm most proud that I managed to get the settings on 2 of my vintage sewing machines set up reasonably well to do freestyle embroidery. That was really a battle for me because my machines are old as dirt and haven't been used in years! What advice would you give someone starting this project? Just relax and have fun. Use the supplies you have on hand, especially for the practice projects.
