This is a favorite piece that was given to my daughter as a gift. She loves it. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Do some research on this ancient Japanese art form. It is hand stitched, which I love. Sashiko is my new favorite. This bag was inspired by The Ultimate Sashiko Sourcebook by by Susan Briscoe I ordered my book directly from her, and was very happy to get a signed copy.
