Regal Born Aine totebag

Project Description

What was your source for this embroidery project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo Aine Embroidery Pattern Link to website or photo www.craftsy.com/pattern/embroidery/hand-embroidery/aine-embroidery-pattern/69304 What are you most proud of? This version of Aine is beaded as well as embroidered. The twilling stitch allows for beads to be added as you stitch, so I used beads, with different spacings, in all three colors of pearl cotton thread. I used square and round beads, some matching the color of the thread and other beads that coordinated with a color of thread. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Search around the Internet for a totebag pattern that you like. There are many free patterns since being green is important now. I used a grocery style shopping bag pattern that I had found on Burdastyle, but I don't know if it's still available there.

What you will need

  • Cotton fabrics
