Pulled Fringe Embroidered Napkins

Project Description

What was your source for this embroidery project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo Project Pattern Link to website or photo unravelandmend.blogspot.co.uk/2012/08/pulled-fringe-embroidered-napkins.html What are you most proud of? This project is so versatile. Most loosely-woven fabrics and embroidery patterns can be used. I'm proud that I was able to re-use iron-on transfer patterns that my mom bought many, many years ago. The fabric came from my scrap heap, and I already had the embroidery thread. So this is truly a "green" project. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Take your time with this. As you will see from my blog, I certainly did! And absolutely, positively don't try to make a perfect project. Just have fun!

What you will need

  • linen-like fabric
  • embroidery thread
  • embroidery needles
  • sewing machine
  • sewing thread
  • fabric scissors

Very nice hand work, and I really like the machine stitch border with fringe. I just love the old embroidery patterns, and the colors you chose.

Thank you! It's always nice to hear good feedback about the projects that I love so much.
