Spoooky! This lifeless looking tree is crowned with a flock of bats. Each branch of this spooky tree leads to a bat. It's a cute and different look for Seasonal embroidery. It would look charming on a tea towel or in a Mini-Art quilt. It might even set off a boring looking bag. The pattern includes transfer, stitching and color guides to make it look like the example. The pattern is included in three different sizes so you can fit it to your project. The PDF includes links to a wonderful site (not mine!) with embroidery tutorials each of the stitches used in this pattern. I am the craftiest daughter of a very crafty mother. She taught me a lot of crafty basics when I was young. In k-12, I used to get in trouble for drawing on my schoolwork. Later on I picked up a paintbrush and taught myself how to paint. For a brief period in college, I played with a computer based paper doll program (kisekae) and I got quite handy with a mouse. Today, I use my chronic doodling habit to develop cross stitch and embroidery patterns. I'm taking a break from designing patterns to work on a crazy quilt project. There are several new embroidery designs that I'm developing for this project. When it's done, I will work on publishing them as patterns here.
