Pattern Details

This is a fun tea cozy hand embroidery pattern that features a design of a vintage style teacup filled with roses and posies dancing around up top. This is a nice design for those just learning embroidery since it uses just four basic embroidery stitches and is an easy sewing project, too! The design area measures 7" x 7". It has very easy stitches using back stitch, stem stitch, lazy daisies and French knots. The pattern is easily transferred to fabric using any of the methods available in craft and sewing shops, a lightbox or a window. The pattern can be embroidered in colors of your choice and can be finished in a variety of ways. I embroidered the sample with hand dyed variegated silk floss and finished it into a tea cozy that is nice for tea time and looks pretty as kitchen decor! The pattern comes with easy finishing instructions for the tea cozy. This includes a photo page, embroidery pattern, suggested supply list, embroidery instructions, and finishing instructions for the tea cozy. The pattern is available for instant download after payment has cleared. Nice and easy! Thank you! ©Country Garden. This pattern is for personal use only. Copyright remains with artist after purchase. Distribution in any manner is prohibited. Thank you for respecting the time and effort that goes into creating my designs. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY Basic embroidery stitches including stem stitch, back stitch, French knots and lazy daisy stitches.

Welcome to my shop! I began sewing as a young girl in 4-H and my mother and grandmothers all liked to sew. I have a lovely collection of quilts from one of my grandmothers and crocheted afghans from my other grandmother. I love to draw and do needlework so when my children were little and I was staying home with them I decided to design my own patterns and greeting cards. I have a web site that shows all of my patterns and links to other items I make with my illustrations. www.cathierichardson.blogspot.com
