Hi, I am Meagan. I am a lover of all things creative. I started this adventure (of patterning) back in 2009. It started with drafting an apron for my daughter's art class, turned into a custom sewing biz and finally into just selling my custom drafts as patterns. I became ill for a while and decided to take a break to have some much needed R&R. I am back and I hope we will enjoy this ride together. For more about me and my back-story or adventures, visit my blog at So when I took an extended break from patterning I decided I wanted to try new forms of creating. I tried quilting, crocheting, knitting and hand embroidery. I, hands down, fell IN LOVE with hand embroidery. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it! It is relaxing and rewarding. You can put as much or as little into it as you want. It took me away from being so "in my head" like many of us creative types do. So of course I had to sew for my own Princess which lead me down the road of old stories from my childhood and since she is a Princess this had to be the first. This pattern comes in two sizes, a large and a small. I created the larger one for pillows or to add to quilting projects and the small for clothing. This pattern is six pages, four pages of pictures and information. Two pages of fully digitized pattern pieces. This isn't gear for someone who has never picked up a hoop and floss, rather a beginner who knows basics. I have a link on the blog for basic and for the more adventurous stitcher. I had testers who were beginners and one's with more knowledge, all agreed it was a super fun project. You will need fabric, floss, a marking tool like carbon or invisible ink, and a hoop. This template can also be used for free motion machine embroidery, felt painting and raw edge appliquing. There is a 1" test square so that printing is accurate. When printing, set scale to none. There are NO refunds on PDF patterns. Check out my other listings. My 1st business I started at 10ish. My mom was a crafter who sold at shows and I always tried her products out. I fell in love with "stiff stuff". I made earrings, pendents, watches, hair bows, etc. I found myself selling out of everything and mom carrying her stuff back home. I knew crafting was going to be my life.
