This little cross stitch was designed by me for The Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery but has since been discontinued. I'm not offering it up here with a new cover and lay-out and I really hope you like it! This pattern was inspired by my love of sewing and all things vintage-y and fun! I think this pattern will appeal to anyone who loves sewing, and since it is a smaller size it is perfect for incorporating into free space on sewn projects. This pattern includes a black and white chart, a floss key with all the colours you need, and a list of "stitchery notes". I have always been a crafty person. I can remember my grandmother teaching me to use her sewing machine when I was five years old so that we could make clothes for my dolls. I love most handcrafts and can usually be found quilting, sewing, knitting, or cross stitching. I found my design mojo a few years ago when a friend was getting married; something popped into my head telling me that I needed to make her a quilt and I was off! I didn't realize that there was such a thing as a quilt pattern, so I just made it up as I went along. I have been designing my own patterns ever since. I now design for books, magazines, sewing websites/blogs, my personal line of patterns, and I often offer up free patterns and tutorials through my website ( I also teach classes now, mainly for English Paper Piecing, and I enjoy it so much. I never thought that I would make a good teacher, but it seems that when it comes to sewing, my love of the craft just spills over and I forget all of my nervousness and anxiety.
