PATTERN DETAILS

Stitch your favorite characters from your favorite stories in the Brooke's Books Once Upon A Stitch Collection. Stitch Miss Quadling, the dress maker - one of the Little People from The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum. Collect other characters from the book and stitch them all together or individually...Your choice. If you stitch them together, connect each motif by the bricks to form the Yellow Brick Road. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY You will need to know how to cross stitch and back stitch to complete this design. You can find a beginner's tutorial here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mr_LfGr1v0E SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS This design is 52 x 76 stitches. If you stitch on 14 count fabric over 1 thread or 28 count fabric over 2 threads the finished dimensions will be approximately 3.75" x 5.5"

Recommended with this pattern

  • You will need 1 skein of each listed color of DMC floss & evenweave fabric of your choice. Suggested fabrics are DMC 28 count Tea Dyed Monaco or Irish Linen. (Stitched over 2 threads
  • You will also need an embroidery hoop, #26 or #24 tapestry needle, sharp embroidery scissors and materials for finishing your stitched piece. (ie: a frame, fabric to make a pillow, etc...)
