I am lucky enough to have a Rose of Sharon in the garden, and it is covered with the glorious blue-mauve flowers you see here. I have grown small plants which I keep on the window sill from the seeds, and these have come through a pretty pink-mauve. Isn't nature wonderful? I have this picture complete and ready to go in the frame. Then it's just finding the place for it, so many crafts, so little wall space . . . I think this picture is the reason I got into designing more charts for butterflies, specifically for petit point (coming). I know it is just a Cabbage white, but I think they are just so delicate and beautiful creatures, and only the female of this species has spots! Whatever you do - HAPPY CRAFTING! BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY You should know how to do cross stitch and back stitch. SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Stitch Size 196 x 155 22 count aida - 8.9" x 7.0" (22.6cm x 17.9cm) 18 count aida - 10.9" x 8.6" (27.7cm x 21.9cm) 14 count aida - 14.0" x 11.1" (35.6cm x 28.1cm) Note: Above are design sizes only, and do not reflect additional fabric requirements for framing, hemming etc. Also 11 count aida is not included, but would be twice the 22 count size (approx. 18" x 14").
