Patrick Connors asked:
Hello brenita2013, Welcome to Perspective in Landscape Drawing. Congratulations to the posting of your first drawing. [Did you do the first project? A landscape drawing with no border. It is in the "Video Notes" or in "Meet Patrick Connors" about 20 minutes.] Also, thank you for posting the information and the reference image. First could you tell everyone the dimensions of the drawing? Also, in using Prismacolors you were careful in not going to dark in the drawing. Which is difficult with such drawing styli and similar crayons which have a wax content that make control a bit more difficult and erasing can be a problem. On that note, the border is generally best when it is a midtone not as dark as you have drawn it. Because of that, you did not tone the foreground as dark as it should be. It is good to that you included the detail of the plants at the edge of the river bank. The next time you do that type of detail look at the various angles and curls some of those river weeds have.
