What type of piece is this? Drawing What are you most proud of? I learned something. I wanted to do the second lesson, drawing within the border, but the heat and bugs got to me. However, I did use the composing L's, and saw where the composition needed to be changed. I didn't need that tree to the left at all! And much less background at the top for what I want the picture to be. Hoping to get back out there pretty soon. Also I couldn't get as far away from the rocks as I wanted to be, and still be able to see them from this angle. Maybe that's ok since I want them to loom large, but I still want them to be part of a setting, not just the rocks. And I also did notice many things since this is the first time I have tried sketching "live", like the changing shadows, the amount of detail over that of a photo, and how it is just a whole different experience. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Remember to bring your bug repellent if you are drawing in a forest!
