Gaining confidence

Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this piece. Here are a few drawings I have been working on for another class and own my own. Patrick's class has given me a confidence in my self and, even though I still have a lot to learn, I feel that I am on my way to becoming a more proficient artist. Ten Essential Techniques for Drawing and Perspective in Landscape Drawing have given me a great foundation as I go on to other media. Landscapes were daunting to me but I now have a base to build on and am enjoying drawing things that I never would have attempted. Thanks again, Patrick!

Q&A with Tammy Caulder

eepsers asked:
These are great! I especially love the harbor-scape! Great job on all the forms of perspective!
Tammy Caulder answered:
Thank%20you!
Shelly SLC asked:
Terrific work! Agree my fave is the harbor. But they are all very nice.
Tammy Caulder answered:
Thanks...The harbor is my favorite too:)
Patrick Connors asked:
[criticism continued] Also, can you add something, perhaps detail to the foreground so that the viewer's eye is led a bit slower into the drawing? This will also allow the eye to go into the other parts of the composition. As it is now the eye immediately goes to the tree, and nearly neglects the rest. Once again, Well done!
