Brass Photo Frame

The lesson was about drawing and colouring shiny things. The photo frame is actually about six inches high. I photographed it to keep the light in one place and printed it off as A4 so I could see the detail clearly. I roughly drew a grid on the photo and on my blank paper and I drew what I could see. I did the basic shape first and added some light/dark details. Then I filled in the details starting at the top left hand corner and worked down, across, up and then across again.
