[criticism cont.] Drawing them perpendicular to the ground plane which has compromised the projection of the street into space. also, be careful of the tonal structure throughout the drawing. For example, the windows in the garage are the same as the windows and the street. A slight difference would help with the depiction of space. Also, if possible, watch your pencil stroke as regards the defining of planes. In the street, it would be helpful if the strokes were not all in the same direction. Congratulations on these drawings, especially the second, you were most successful with the roof tops, which were the most difficult planes to project. Look forward to your next posting.
