3 Ladies (rocks) second attempt

Project Description

What type of piece is this? Drawing Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this piece. 8x11 sketchbook, spiral. Initially used a 2B and then a 6B for the limited shading I did. The border around the page really did help! Also used the composing L's before I started, very helpful. Also used the pencil itself as a measuring tool, and that method of "taking notes" to fix the basic areas was extremely useful. I may get back to this, but for right now this is as far as I'm going to go with it. I learned a great deal doing it, however, and want to try another topic. I'm wondering how does one draw leaves on the ground without doing each one? Not sure how to suggest a leaf ground cover. Also want to add that I am much happier with this one than the first one I did. Is the piece for sale? No
