Wash cloth becomes a scarf!!

Project Description

What are you most proud of? Everything! This is my first Tunisian project and it is very addicting! Even got a set of Denise hooks from Stitch Diva's website which I LOVE!!! What advice would you give someone starting this project? Biggest thing I have learned is that the type of hook really does matter. Before getting my Denise hooks in I was using Susan Bates hook. I bought the Denise hooks as a present for myself since I am having heart surgery this week and wanted to take my mind off of the stress of it. I was shocked the how differently I crochet with the Denise hooks. The hook just slides between the yarn. There is no catching, no splitting any plies. I crochet faster and smoother than ever. Best investment I have ever made. I can't ever see using another hook ever regardless if it's regular crochet or Tunisian. Seriously they are that good! Thank you Jennifer for using them in your class!

What you will need

  • Natural Bamboo which I will dye after I am finished crocheting (yeah I am a bit backwards that way but it's fun!). I am a tight crochet so I did use a bigger hook and I didn't do the center block since I knew from about the 6th row I wanted this to be a scarf instead.
  • US J-10/6.00mm/UK 4
