Q&A with Petals to Picots

Betsy0 asked:
I tried this idea last summer making a mat for the door at our cottage. It sure takes lots of bags. I envisioned myself collecting bags and making wonderful things. I'm over that now.
Petals to Picots answered:
LOL! Yes, it does take more bags than you would think :)
SandraT1010 asked:
What a great idea for all of those plastic bags. Love the fact that its helping out the enviroment as well.
Petals to Picots answered:
Thanks you!! I love that idea as well!
melodyj1511@yahoo.com asked:
My friend's mother used to make rugs out of those little bags that newspapers come in. That was in the days before plastic grocery bags. This certainly makes saving supplies for them easier. I'll have to try it.
Petals to Picots answered:
Very cool! Thank you :)

I have been making placemats and ground camping mats from grocery bags for a while. Nice way to recycle.
Petals to Picots answered:
It definitely is! I am actually making a placemat and coaster set now. I will share that on my blog soon. Thanks for your comment!
