Sweeney Todd and Mrs Lovett

Project Description

What are you most proud of? That I actually finished these two :) These are the very first dolls I ever made like this. They took about a month. I had to design everything and I had to figure out how to make their hair just right. It was an amazing feat! What advice would you give someone starting this project? Pay attention to details!

What you will need

  • acrylic yarn
  • cotton/acrylic fabric
  • pleather

Q&A with webloreArt

Kir asked:
These are freaking awesome. I have no words.
webloreArt answered:
Thank you!!!
RachelH asked:
These are so great! Amazing likeness. Do you have patterns for other characters, too?
webloreArt answered:
I'm such a dork, I never write down my patterns. The characters/creatures just evolve :)
drmyblueyz asked:
I'm blown away! I've been a little obsessed w/ that movie ever since I saw it. I see below that you don't have a pattern?!? I was going to offer to pay you for it. OMG, sobbing LOL. Don't suppose these 2 are for sale or you could recreate them?
webloreArt answered:
I became obsessed, lol! It's a great movie :) The bodies are easy enough to write patterns for (well, I assume... I've never actually written one in all the years I've been crocheting). The hair and the clothing is wear it gets tricky. I custom designed the clothes and have paper patterns for them. They would be hard to reproduce. I do, however sell them on my Etsy page :) I have a link on my main page here.
