Stormy Day Shawl

This shawl is crocheted with one cake of Scheepjes Whirl yarn in the Green Tea Tipple colorway. The pattern was on the WEBS (yarn.com) web site and featured in their fall 2017 catalog. The finished shawl is perfect for wearing over a summer dress or as a scarf over a turtle neck in winter. I had never crocheted a garment before and really needed the support of the Reading & Understanding Crochet Patterns class by Shannon Mullet-Bowlsby. Being able to read the diagram provided with this pattern saved me from making a number of fatal mistakes. It's a great class, highly recommended!
