Q&A with The Pegster

Donna Black asked:
Santa is real cutie is there a pattern?
The Pegster answered:
Donna, I posted a comment that answered your question but here it is again just for you. I am so sorry it took this long to get back to you. My internet has been out for a week. Thank you for your kind words. I don't have a pattern as such for this guy. I had a really old pattern book that had a doll pattern in it and I just adapted it to make my Santa. I ended up giving him to my daughter and now she displays him every year. If you can find an old Crochet Magazine called "Quick & Easy Crochet" published by Grass Roots Publishing, the January/February 1995 had patterns called "Dora Lee and Daisy Dolls in it. That is the pattern I used for the "basic doll" form. I then made the clothing, hat, beard, jacket belt and boots myself. I ended up having to make another stomach and another set of pants because he wasn't fat enough. It wasn't hard just stuffing hungry.
